Overview
A very enjoyable Dutch village. It has a much more natural character compared to nearby Zaanse Schans, making for a more pleasant experience. It's semi-touristy, but as you move a bit away from the town center, you'll encounter locals going about normal daily life. Suitable for a day trip, though spending a night here would let you better soak in its storybook atmosphere.
