Our Flight to Singapore
We flew Singapore Airlines into Singapore during our 2026 Southeast Asia trip.
Staff asked us to put the stroller into a protective bag, a small detail that showed care for cleanliness. They gave our baby a Disney toy and assigned us the front economy row without charge. On our aircraft, the first economy rows after business began with seat numbers in the 40s, which looked absurd until you saw the cabin map.
Legroom in the front row was excellent and the journey was comfortable. The entertainment system worked well. The meal included beef, peas, mashed potato, and cake, plus a small bag of milk, something I had never seen served that way. Food came in cardboard containers, another small cultural difference.
The Singapore-based crew were extremely polite and service was excellent. The flight was smooth and better than expected.
