Overview
The name of this famous Peruvian spirit comes from a small town of the same name, Pisco, in Peru. When traveling between Lima and Paracas/Huacachina, you pass very close to this town. While the name raises expectations, the place has absolutely nothing to offer as a tourist destination.

The supreme irony of our Peru trip: going to the town of Pisco expecting to drink great pisco, only to have the worst pisco of our entire journey there. Do yourselves a favor and don't bother stopping.
