Overview
Our stop in Chur was brief and clearly did not show us the city at its best. The section we drove through felt industrial, and during that short visit it seemed as if there was very little to see. I would not have changed our route to return on this particular trip.
There is an important limitation to that verdict. We did not properly explore the historic center. Chur's tourism office describes its car-free old town as one of the city's main attractions, with Arcas square, the cathedral and medieval streets. Our rating reflects the part we actually saw, not a complete tour of Chur.
